Pingback: New World Notes: SL Avatar Body Survey from Top Fashion Brand Dominated by Maitreya | Chameleonic Possession
I’ve noticed the Maitreya domination. Which annoys me, because the Maitreya HUD is absolute garbage compared to Slink’s HUD. I use Physique, and so many designers have completely abandoned providing Physique-fitted clothes entirely.
If you want to play around with the package (test the alpha layer applier, test experimental extra layers for applying your own clothing templates), I can give you some links. There are 2 places to grab a test version that’s assembled; the latest test version is on GitHub and requires assembly.
I dropped some landmarks and a notecard. The official Ruth 2.0 is available at Chimera’s LM. An experimental one with a clothing shell is at a temp parcel in UUtopia by Hyacinth Greymoon.
In Open Sim she has TWO shells, an inner and outer, for under and outer system clothing appliers. In SL she has one, but you fiddle with alpha masks settings to get them to layer right. The alpha hud doesn’t affect them but you can add system tops and bottoms.
The R2 body takes mesh clothing very well and the alpha hud is slick. Bento hand poses, nails and color, and feet in progress (nails pretty rough).
They have multiple huds to juggle, and keeping versions straight is hard. But overlaying my old crappy t shirts on the nicer “shell†is fun.
